Field Project Engineer - Well completions - Equatorial Guinea

CA Oil & Gas are currently seeking a Field Project Engineer for our client in Equatorial Guinea.

1 Monitoring and reporting of Tenderer’s technical, operational, Quality, and HS&E performance
against agreed KPI’s and reviews with Company management
2 Compiling and maintaining a Company “Completions Manual” (in conjunction with Technical
Support Team in Geomarket main offices)
3 Recording and responding to Company technical enquiries
4 Management of equipment qualification
5 Detailed cost estimates
6 Correct specification of Tenderer’s equipment
7 Provide completion technology updates
8 Review periodically Project Schedule with Project Manager to plan for resources utilization
9 Weekly reviews of completion equipment order, preparation, and installation status
10 Preparation and monitoring of completion procedures
11 Confirming with Customer offices detailed Installation procedures
12 Provision of Tubemove calculations
13 Provision of Torque and Drag calculations
14 Transferring well program and procedures into Workshop instructions (assembly procedure, Work
Orders etc.), agreed with Customer first and conveyed to Product Line coordinators and
Workshop Supervisors
15 Participation to Job briefing and Job debriefing
16 Participation in incident investigations
17 Preparation of Completion reports
18 Custodian of Quality Procedures as per Quality plan (Job Files, Sales and Service Order Entry
etc.)
19 Supporting KPI system
20 Compilation of End of Well Report
21 Participation in well design reviews to optimize designs and procedures
22 Recording Company feedback and co-coordinating responses

Excellent communication (verbal and written) and technical selling skills are required, along with a solid track record of customer service delivery. Proven ability to work with people and manage work within a culturally diverse global operation.


Education, Experience Requirements and Qualifications:
• Technical degree / diploma
• 10 years oilfield experience
• multi-discipline knowledge, including Sand Control expertise
• Knowledge of operations on floater rig environment

Fishing Tool Supervisor (Oil & Gas) - Gabon

CA Oil & Gas are currently looking for a Fishing Tool Supervisor for one of our clients in Gabon.

Responsibilities
Under minimal supervision, runs multiple applications of medium to high-risk in the Wellbore Intervention Product Group. (Fishing Open and Cased Hole, Casing Exits, P&A, Wellbore cleaning tools)
Supervise all work activities in Making Up and Laying down the fishing tool bottom hole assembly when out of the hole, conduct safety meetings with rig crew on pulling the fishing bottom hole assemblies out or in of the well bore to ensure work procedures are implemented and equipment used are properly handled and maintained to ensure safety practices and security measures are followed
Provides front-line support with customer and accurately completes all paperwork prior to or upon completion of job
Works closely with Fishing Manager and warehouse personnel and preparing tool lists and programs, ensures supplied equipment is compatible with all other equipment used for job.
May conduct on-the-job training for some Wellbore Intervention applications as required.
Handles special projects as assigned.
Prepare reports of services rendered, tools used, and time required, to serve as basis for billing the customer
Good working knowledge of MS Word and Excel programmes as a minimum
Promote and sell Company's technology
Update Job Database after every Job.
May required to support special operations within the Region.

Experience and Skills required
High school diploma, GED or equivalent
Minimum Five (5) or more years of oilfield related work/rigs fishing tool experience
Extensive Knowledge of Fishing, P&A and Whipstock Tools.
Prior work experience as a driller and/or in fishing and milling operations
Supervisory skills and experience
Ability to operate drilling rigs (Offshore and Onshore), Workover rigs and snubbing units
Ability to foster and maintain an effective working relationship with other Key employees and
Customers

Extensive knowledge in all safety practices and measures in rig and fishing operations
English language.

Logistics Supervisor (materials) 10 yrs + - Oil & Gas - Kenya

CA Oil & Gas are currently seeking a Logistics Supervisor for one of their clients operations in Kenya.

This is a contract position.
The candidate will be expected to perform the following role but not limted to;
• To provide expert logistics management for all aspects of logistic requirements for planned and ongoing operations
• Provides scope of requirements for C&P to develop and award logistics contracts, and then becomes the contract owner.
• Analyse the ‘required on site’ dates for materials and equipment and advise the most economic method of shipment based on the actual ‘available for shipment’ dates of such items from the suppliers.
• Provide advice on the most applicable method of shipping materials and equipment, taking the local infrastructure into account. e.g. roads, bridges, railway, freight wagon size and capacity, crane availability etc.
• Provide advice and ensure that all Customs & permit requirements are understood and adhered to for both the country of export & the country of import.
• Review and update of current logistics policies and procedures to ensure that legislation is being adhered to, and that the company benefit from the use of industry best practices. 
• Ensure Local Content requirements are met for Logistics services
• Ensure Logistics providers meet EHS standards, including compliance to vehicle inspection standards
• Single point of contact for logistics support services from external company sources e.g. customs clearance agents, freight forwarders etc.
• Single point of contact to all internal users for tracking cargo movements.
• Act as liaison between the rig owner’s logistics personnel and company internal users with regard to keeping the users up to date with the progress of rig movements. 
• Control the delivery of project equipment through consolidation at a central marshalling area before final shipment.
• Where necessary, in-country journey surveys may require to be conducted.
• Provide support to the sourcing and operation of personnel transportation
• Provide support to the Materials Management Team as required

Liner Hanger Engineer (stabbing / testing) - Oil & Gas - Cape Town

Main Duties:
• Responsibility for the co-ordinator and supervision of pre-service planning and pre-operations
• Preparation of job documentation including drawings, job logs and failure summaries
• Participate in the inspection, assembly and preparation of test documentation during the job assembly process. 
• Provide customer support on products and services. 
• Advise customer representatives on proper product application and installation
• Provide guidance to rig personnel on product function and trouble shooting tips
• Develop, implement and maintain excellent customer field contacts
• Participate in equipment installation

Qualification/Skills:
• High School Diploma or educational equivalent
• Proven experience of liner hangers both on land and offshore locations
• Possess rig experience including Platform, jack-up, barge, semi-submersible and drill ship type rigs. 
• Thorough knowledge in operating mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, or electronic equipment. 
• Professional and effective communication skills. 
• Thorough knowledge of IFE program or equivalent. 
• Ability to interact with customers on multiple levels. 
• Demonstrated technical knowledge of all major products and systems in product line used in the product segment.
• Must be proficient in Microsoft Office Software.
• Basic knowledge of budgetary and reporting concepts
