Exploration Project Manager (Exploration & Production / Oil & Gas) - West Africa - Cameroon

CA Oil & Gas are currently seeking an Exploration Project Manager for our clients operations in West Africa.

The project is an exploration project.  Client has just signed a Production Sharing Contract (PSC) on for onshore exploration blocks in West Africa.  The PSC provides for an 8-year exploration work program.  The minimum commitments are for geophysical and geological studies in the first four years and for two exploration wells thereafter.

The client is basically looking for an exploration project manager (who should have experience, preferably in West or Central Africa) managing exploration  projects from scratch. He should appropriately be a geoscientist or petroleum engineer and be able to co-ordinate in the first instance, planning for and execution of the exploration project, including the collation of requisite data, negotiating AWP&Bs with authorities and sourcing, contracting and supervising the requisite service providers for aeromagnetic surveys, seismology, etc.

The Senior Subsea Supervisor’s basic function is to supervise the maintenance and repair of all subsea BOP and riser systems, Multiplex electro-hydraulic control systems, and all associated surface equipment and systems.

Requirements: Candidates must have experience working on a drilling unit - semi submersible or drillship.

Minimum of one year experience working with a Multiplex system.

Candidates should have subsea related training certification to demonstrate their technical knowledge.

Candidates should hold a valid Well Control certificate and have knowledge of all technical calculations required for the subsea operation of the drilling unit and basic computer skills.

Candidates with both MUX and conventional system experience will be considered.

- Work with marketing, product development and procurement to integrate new supplier or brand launches as well as regulatory upgrades to existing packaging or formulations
Fulfillment:
- Monitor the KPI’s and metrics associated with final shipments to customers to prevent/reduce out of stock situations, watch for trends impacting forecasting needs or marketing changes impacting forecasting requirements
- Monitor reporting feeds in Management Information System for optimization of data used in various analysis functions

Organizational:
Deliver and maintain KPI’s for the Plant and Toll Blender Network driving efficiency savings
- Provide manufacturing and supply chain expertise in support of the business requirements
- Manage external quality certification organizations as relevant
- Coordinate external benchmarking exercises and use the results to set priorities in Manufacturing Improvement Programs
- Develop and steward manufacturing and supply chain talent in the business
- Work closely with all relevant departments to optimise inventory planning and purchasing
- Develop planning input for Sales, Marketing and Operations planning meetings
- Work closely with marketing, brand management and international sales & marketing operations 
- Drive operational excellence and sharing of best practices across the business in order to reduce cost to serve on an ongoing basis

Essential Experience:
-  Demonstrated ability of managing cost performance, supply/demand forecasting and
   distribution execution from multiple sources
-  Clear understanding of the fundamental principles of the working of a plant and how
   materials, manufacturing process, people and assets interact to support the conversion of
   quality products in the most optimised manner
