Lead Pipeline Engineer - Oil & Gas - Onshore UK

CA Oil & Gas are looking for Lead Pipeline Engineers. Location: UK.


Main duties:

· Subsea system engineering

· Concept & feasibility studies

· FEED

· Detail design

· Ultradeep gas transmission pipelines



Experience & qualification:

Chartered Engineer
Engineering degree
Good working knowledge of: relevant structural design & welding codes, DNVOS-F101 & BS8010, API 1111 & Ansi B31.4/B31.8, DnV Related Codes & recommended practices.


Responsibilities:

· Performing design analysis using SAGE3D, Flexcom, Orcaflex, Offpipe, and Ansys/Abaqus, MathCAD/Excel, Fledermaus

· Interface with other discipline engineers

· Managing medium/large subsea pipeline studies

· Detailed design of small subsea pipelines and flowlines related projects

· Offshore representative roles and client interface

· Development and dissemination of materials-related best practice within the client’s global materials team.



As a lead, must be able to:

Plan, organize, and supervise the work of a team of engineers and technicians.

Evaluate the progress of the team and results obtained and recommend major changes to achieve overall objectives.

Aim to achieve quality results within budget and schedule limitations.
