DCS SHIFT SUPERVISOR - Production - Oil & Gas - FPSO Offshore Tunisia

CA Oil & Gas are currently seeking a DCS SHIFT SUPERVISOR for one our clients’ FPSOs, 3 miles off the coast of Tunisia. The project will start in May 2011.

Position description: In charge of the direct supervision of all process and Control Room activities.

Hierarchy: Reports to Production Supervisor.

Main Functions: Under Production and Process Maintenance Supervisor’s authority, the Shift Supervisor is in charge of operating production facilities. As such, he is responsible for meeting production targets.

Following production procedures, he shall:

·         Ensure production targets are met and that all production activities are carried out efficiently;

·         Ensure the process is used in conformity with process design conditions;

·         Supervises DCS & all related Control Room operations.

·         Monitor closely all process parameters and reports all anomalies to the relevant head of department.

·         Ensure that all production activities are covered by specific procedures and that these procedures are fully applied and understood by all personnel under his direct responsibility;

·         Prepare production reports.

Qualifications:

·         5 Years experience as Control Room Operator

·         DCS experience.

·         10 years experience in production operations.

·         Fluent in English.

·         Computer Literate.
