DCS Engineer for Start-up Team - Oil & Gas - Downstream / Qatar - Middle East

CA Oil & Gas are looking for a DCS Engineer for Start-up Team. This is an onshore position in Qatar.

DCS Engineer for Start-up Team:

This individual must have hands-on experience with latest revision of EPKS on a live system within an operating plant environment.

This person needs to have experience in a live start up situation. Have clear understanding of the effect on the equipment his or her actions or omissions may effect and the associated consequences. Be able to operate efficiently under pressure. Have the ability to defend their actions and push back as necessary on the clients commissioning teams.

This person needs to have the pre-requisite ability to analyze complex control schemes spanning multiple CM to establish in a timely manner the route of the problem and the safest way to proceed. This person also needs to be a strong team player.

The site conditions are as below:

· 6 weeks on 2 weeks off

· 10 hours per day, 6 days per week (6.30am to 5.00pm, 30 min lunch)

· There may be a request to work overtime now and again

· Camp accommodation provided

· All meals provided

· Lowest economy airfare reimbursed by client

· We need candidates with Safety Manager/FSC experience and candidates with experience of using Experion.

· The expected duration is until December 2011.
