IPS Engineers for MSA Projects - Oil & Gas - Downstream / Qatar - Middle East

CA Oil & Gas are looking for IPS Engineers for MSA Projects. This is an onshore position in Qatar.

IPS Engineers for MSA Projects:

These individuals must have hands-on experience with latest revision of Safety Manager to develop design packages (Site Work Packages) to be implemented by others.

These individuals will provide design, documentation, and application configuration for any additions to the Instrument Protection Systems (IPS) and Fire and Gas Systems (FGS) during post-RFSU.

Tasks will include evaluating input information for completeness (sometimes needing direct contact with initiator of change), creating design documents or revising existing documents, creating or revising existing application configuration, obtaining approvals of QSGTL and/or Contractor owner, performing an off-line test of design (on-site FAT), and preparing a Site Work Package. Assessment of risks associated with the download of the application and subsequent download.

The site conditions are as below:

· 6 weeks on 2 weeks off

· 10 hours per day, 6 days per week (6.30am to 5.00pm, 30 min lunch)

· There may be a request to work overtime now and again

· Camp accommodation provided

· All meals provided

· Lowest economy airfare reimbursed by client

· We need candidates with Safety Manager/FSC experience and candidates with experience of using Experion.

· The expected duration is until December 2011.
