CA Oil & Gas are looking for an IPS Engineers for Technical Expertise. This is an onshore position in Qatar.
IPS Engineers for Technical Expertise:
This individual must have hands-on experience with latest revision of Safety Manager on a live system within an operating plant environment.
This individual will perform downloads of all Instrument Protection Systems (IPS) and Fire and Gas Systems (FGS) after SM have been integrated into CCR.
Tasks include verifying MOC implementation has been completed for the SM controller/s to be downloaded, identifying, reporting and/or resolving faults in the SM controller/s before beginning download, following the OLM procedure to complete the download, system reset and verifying that no unknown faults are present after download is complete, maintaining latest backups of the Main Plant IPS/FGS applications. Assessment of risks associated with the download of the application and subsequent download.
The site conditions are as below:
· 6 weeks on 2 weeks off
· 10 hours per day, 6 days per week (6.30am to 5.00pm, 30 min lunch)
· There may be a request to work overtime now and again
· Camp accommodation provided
· All meals provided
· Lowest economy airfare reimbursed by client
· We need candidates with Safety Manager/FSC experience and candidates with experience of using Experion.
· The expected duration is until December 2011.
